We heard your feedback and have added a new feature to Lister and Link to prevent draft products from accidentally being added to inventory.
Block Drafts From Reshelf
allows admins to control a new setting in the Admin>Products page that gives the following options:- Block all Draft Products from Reshelf in Link
- Only block Draft Products without pictures from Reshelf in Link
- Allow all Draft Products to be added to inventory via Reshelf in Link (default)
To get started, ensure Link is updated to at least version
3.9.12 on iOS
or version 1.40.0 on Android
, then follow the steps below:- Click the gear icon in the top right corner of Lister to navigate to the settings page
- Click Products in the left column
- Select an option in the “Block Drafts from Reshelf” dropdown menu under the Product Inventory Settings header
- Click “Save” at the bottom of the page
After this setting is saved, the next time users log into Link, Reshelf will display a warning when a barcode is scanned using the device's camera or a Bluetooth scanner is used to move a draft product to a location, based on the selected admin setting.
These items should be returned to the production area to be photographed and/or listed.
