Improvements to Express List
Based on our clients' feedback, we've made several Express List improvements to further speed up listing!
- Express List can be started from more locations for rapid access
- Category selection is faster through recent searches, type-to-search, and tree-based navigation
- Editing errors takes less time; users can correct the category without losing work when the template is shared
- Highly requested "No Combine Shipping" and "Featured Item" options have been added to the Inventory Details drawer
- Express List can be started without a draft product
- Ability to "Save, list & print" has been added
- Static Templates have been moved to a more accessible location
What's Changing
More entry points to start an Express List listing
Express List listings can now be started from additional locations:
- From the Products Manager page:
- Click the down arrow next to the "List" button
- Select "Express List"

- From the product drawer:
- Click the down arrow next to the "List" button
- Select "Express List"

Category select enhancements
- The category select box now displays the most recent category searches, for faster repeat selection
- The category select box also supports type-to-search to find categories by entering text
- An expandable category tree replaces the previous experience where users saw all categories nested in a navigation bar. Users can click to drill down into category levels progressively until the desired category is shown

Retain product attributes when changing categories (when applicable)
- Express List now preserves entered product attributes when switching categories, under specific conditions
- Previously, changing the category after entering attribute details would clear the entered values
- Now, attribute values persist across category changes as long as the Builder template matches between the source and destination categories
Expected behavior:
- Enter attribute details
- Change the category
- If the new category uses the same Builder template, the previously entered details will remain populated
Inventory Details drawer options added
- Express list now includes toggles for "Combined Shipping" and "Featured Item" from within the Inventory Details drawer on the right-side

Express List without a draft product: “Start New Product” option
For workflows that do not use draft products and do not manifest items, Express List can now be used without creating a draft product first:
- Navigate to Products → Express List
- Click the "Start New Product" button
- Create the listing by providing required information
- Fill out listing details
- Add images
- Either Save & List, or select the newly added Save, list & printoption

Static Templates moved to a more accessible location
- After adding Product Attributes, click on "View Description"
- you will now see the "Add Template" option to add a Static template in the upper right

Bonus bug fix
🐞 - A long-standing visual UI bug has been resolved where the Static template insertor no longer shows incorrectly as "-1" in both the standard listing flow and Express List flow, and now appears correctly named
