We've released a new version of Link to the app store! Link 3.8.1 includes several bug fixes and improved features for Custom Pick Lists with multi-item orders.
Custom Pick Lists: Sort by Order or Sort by Location
We’ve added new options to Custom Pick Lists for teams that use tote-picking carts for multi-item orders and want to pick orders more efficiently in larger warehouses.
The “Custom” pick list tool now has options in the “Advanced” tab to set the number of bins on your order picking cart, and choose between picking orders by Order or by location:
- By Order:Link will route you through inventory one order at a time
- By Location:Link will route you through inventory based on the inventory location first, directing you to place each item in the appropriate bin for the order
How to Use:
- Tap Orders from the main menu
- Tap “Custom”
- Set the Order Type to “Multi Item Orders”
- Tap “Show advanced filters”
- Enter the number of bins on your picking cart
- Tap “By Location”
- Tap the “Start picking”

Link will guide you by location to each item. Match the Order at the top right of the screen with the corresponding bin as you pull items. For example, all items that are part of “Order 1 of 12” would go in Bin 1 on your cart, all items marked as “Order 2 of 12” would be placed in Bin 2, and so on.

How to check if Link is up to date in the App Store:
If automatic updates are turned on, your app should update within the next 1-2 days. Otherwise, you'll need to update from the App Store manually.
- Tap the “App Store” icon from the home screen
- Tap the “Search” icon
- Enter “Upright Link” in the search bar
- Tap “Update” if a new version is available

Please note that it may take up to 24 hours for the new version of Link to appear in the app store if you are manually updating.
