This was marked as complete, but I think the request was confused for something else. Pack mode (and for all intents and purposes, you can do this on the shipment page as well) allows you to split one order, with multiple items, into separate packages. What Derek was asking was for a way to combine multiple orders into the same package.

I think I've requested this feature before as well and I believe the request was also confused.

Our current method involves using an API pull of order data (which we use for multiple other reasons, reporting, etc.) to identify when there's a pending order from the same customer (or more importantly, going to the same address). We then pick those items and package them together under one order number (don't forget to update the declared value for insurance purposes if you desire) then manually update the tracking on the other order with the same tracking number.

A more streamlined system for accomplishing this would be greatly beneficial.
